Sterling Silver Boxing Hares, Triple Hare Pendant
Boxing Hares
Narrative Collection
Our narrative collection tells a story or captures a brief moment in time.
Hares are the symbol of the goddess Eostre, for whom Easter was named. The symbol of the moon-gazing hare is almost universal and dates back to ancient times. Pagans believed moon-gazing hares represented fertility and would bring growth, re-birth, abundance, new beginnings and fortune.
Each sterling silver miniature scene is entirely made by hand by Tracy in her workshop in England.
Within an open locket is a layered framework of trees are three little hares. Two are boxing and one is gazing up at the moon. The moon itself is a moonstone.
This particular design is also available as a kinetic piece, where the boxing hares move up and down on little sliders. Please see the Kinetic range for further designs
