Lace Collection
Retired, but certainly not forgotten.
These fondly remembered designs have now been put to pasture, but still deserve a place in our archives.
One of my most favourite and lovely collections ever.
I started experimenting with casting lace in my first year of university. To say it was difficult to do is an understatement, but I persevered - which resulted in some lovely pieces.
I was shortlisted for the Pewter Live competition in 2012. I was lucky enough to be able to have the choice of submitting a design from one of two of my collections – one of which one was the lace collection. In the end I chose to submit Foxwod a kinetic pendant, for which I came second.
The lace collection may come out of retirement at some stage. It is too lovely to languish in the archives.
